2010 Fall Registration

 Dear Parents,

It’s time to start thinking about school schedules for the 2010-2011 school year and planning our staffing needs. Therefore, we are holding fall registration early again this year, beginning on Monday, March 1^st. 

As a courtesy to our Children’s Garden / PAT Families and Grand Blanc School Employees, we have scheduled times and days below for you to register. In order to avoid disappointment, please make sure you register on your scheduled day.

Licensing requires you to complete a new set of forms for each child attending each school year.  A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee will reserve your space over the summer.  A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee will reserve a space for each additional child. You must commit to a set schedule at the time of registration. If you choose to make a change in your schedule after registration and before the start of the first school session, a $25.00 fee will be assessed.   A tuition invoice will be sent to your home in August for the 1^st session ONLY.

Your child’s latchkey teacher can only accept payment in the form of Checks, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover for the registration fee(s).  Cash can only be accepted in the Children’s Garden Office.  Each registration form must be accompanied with its own registration fee.

New Scheduling & Pricing Structure ~ Children’s Garden families will have the opportunity to make their tuition payments online next school year.  In order to offer this option to our families, Children’s Garden programs are being streamlined.  All Children’s Garden programs will now be scheduled on a 4-week session and charged a flat rate for each session.  Vacation credits and sibling discounts are still available.

Current Latchkey Students:

Beginning Monday, March 1^st

Registration forms will be provided by your current Latchkey teacher prior to this date.  Licensing requires a new form to be completely filled out each school year.  Fill out the forms COMPLETELY and return with registration fee(s) to your child’s latchkey teacher.  Due to licensing requirements, we will only date and process forms if they are completely filled out, with no blank spaces.  You may turn them into the latchkey teacher beginning Monday, March 1^st.    

Pre-School Students:   *All preschool enrollments must be submitted to the Children’s Garden office.

Monday, March 1^st ~ Current Child Development Students

Mrs. High’s, Mrs. Semrau’s and Mrs. Stermer’s current 3 year old students, who would like to keep the same teacher, may enroll in the Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4 year old preschool class in the Children’s Garden Office from 7:30am - 4:00pm.  While we will do our best to honor teacher requests, we cannot make any guarantees.  Staffing and placement is based on total enrollment for the 2010-11 school year. 

Tuesday, March 2^nd ~ All Other Current Students and Siblings

Child Development Flex students, Child Development students who would like a different teacher and any siblings of students currently enrolled may enroll in the Children’s Garden Office from 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Wednesday, March 3^rd ~ Children currently enrolled in the Parents as Teachers (PAT) program and children of Grand Blanc employees may enroll in the Children’s Garden Office from 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Thursday and Friday, March 4^th & 5^th ~ Drop in registration, for those who qualify but cannot make the above schedule, may come and register from 7:30am - 4:00pm in the Children’s Garden Office.

Monday, March 8^th ~ Open to the Public ~ Registration for any remaining preschool & latchkey openings will be in the Children’s Garden Office from 7:30am - 6:00pm.
